Different cricket experts are also part of the team plus we will also have the 83's original team coming in. We are having a lot of fun it feels like boot camp. We train for 3hrs everyday. There is physical training and skills training, a lot is going on."

Ranveer Singh has been cast for the captain, Kapil Dev’s role, when asked about the rest of the cast he said,  "We will soon announce the whole team, there are also a few important characters apart from the team, like the manager and also the player's wives."

The film '83' follows the incredible journey of a bunch of players from a low-ranked team, who went on to beat the big stalwarts of the game. It will be the on-screen documentation of India's 1983' world cup cricket victory.

Pritam will be seen composing the music for the Cricket drama when asked about the music, Kabir said the film will not have any lipsync songs, but 'Needless to say, we will have an energetic background source and a full song album for the film."

"Since 83 sports film, motivational music is very important. And Pritam is working on the music. The film will have a motivating anthem and like every other film, there will be more situational music. There won't be lipsync songs because I don't think the audience will accept Kapil Dev singing on the streets of London." he added.

'83' is produced by Phantom Films, Vishnu Vardhan Induri (Vibri Media), Reliance Entertainment and Kabir Khan Films.
