Keerthy Suresh is back
After dabbling with Tamil movies like ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ and ‘Sarkar,’ for more than a year, talented actress Keerthy Suresh has reportedly signed a women-centric Telugu movie with a new director Narendra and agreed to do the film ‘in principle- and other modalities have to be worked out. Producer Mahesh Koneru of East Coast Productions, who made films with Kalyan Ram like ‘Naa Nuvve’ and ‘118’, has now embarked on a new project which revolves around a female protagonist.
Actually, Keerthy Suresh’s popularity reached dizzy heights with a riveting performance in ‘Mahanati,’ which changed the trajectory of her upcoming career in T-town. In between, she also rejected three or four offers opposite young heroes since she wasn’t happy with the poorly-etched roles, it is learnt. Probably, the ‘Nenu Local’ actress wants to do more women-centric movies and join the league of divas like Anushka and Nayantara who are ruling the roost. Only recently, Tamannaah and Kajal have joined the bandwagon and are about to test waters with their author-backed roles in the Telugu-Tamil remake of B-town blockbuster ‘Queen’ and now Keerthy Suresh joins the party.
