Anil Kapoor says he is waiting to hear Simmba's roar in the theater

Anil Kapoor was paid a surprise visit by the  Simmba  star, Ranveer Singh, and director Rohit Shetty mid work on Monday.

Kapoor was in the middle of an interview speaking about the forthcoming Netflix original series "Selection Day ",  when Ranveer took a break from his film promotions and spend time with the veteran actor on the set.

Anil Kapoor took to Twitter after the visit and shared a picture with the  Simmba  team.

He wrote, "Ran into the #starscreenawards2018 best actor today! Congratulations, @RanveerOfficial on the phenomenal performance & the well-deserved recognition! Wishing you all the luck & success for #Simmba! Waiting to hear that roar! #RohitShetty #SaraAliKhan"

Director Rohit  Shetty,   also joined the impromptu Bollywood meet-up and disscussed the Netflix original series, 'Selection day'.

' Selection  Day' is based on Aravind Adiga's eponymous novel of the same title.

The series around cricket also stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rajesh Tailang, Shiv Pandit, Karanvir Malhotra, Akshay Oberoi  and  Pakhi Gupta.

The Netflix original show 'Selection Day'  will premiere on December 28.
