Naga Chaitanya as ambidextrous person

Update: 2018-10-02 05:30 IST

The teaser of ‘Savyasachi’ starring Naga Chaitanya and Nidhi Agarwal in the lead roles was unveiled in Hyderabad on Monday. It is bankrolled  jointly by Y Naveen, Y Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri under the hat-trick industry hits banner, Mythri Movie Makers.

Naga Chaitanya plays an ambidextrous person who can use both hands equally like Arjuna in ‘Mahabharata’ and is based on the vanishing twin syndrome. This happens when a twin disappears in the womb during pregnancy as a result of a miscarriage. The foetal tissue is absorbed by the other twin and a child who is born will have the other twin’s blood and body rolled into one.

The stylish and action-packed teaser is refreshing with its novel content. “Maamuluga Oka Thalli Raktham Panchukoni Pudithe Annadhammulu Antaaru… Ade Oke Raktham, Oke Shareeram Panchukoni Pudithe, Adbhutham Antaru… Alanti Adbhuthaniki Modaluni.. Kadadhaaka Unde Kavachanni… Ee Savysachilo Sagganni…” says Naga Chaitanya in the whole teaser.

Chandoo Mondeti, who is directing the movie, has come up with a novel concept hitherto unexplored in Telugu cinema. ‘Savyasachi,’which is shot in some stunning locales can be seen during the beginning of the  teaser. The cinematography is slick and captures some brilliant visuals. Actors Madhavan and Bhumika Chawla will be seen in important roles as well in ‘Savyasachi.’ Keeravani has provided the background score. The makers of the film are planning to release it in November this year.
