Hyderabad : YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday instructed the party manifesto  committee to include all the people’s issues brought to the notice of the party during his  Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan held a meeting with the manifesto committee headed by Ummareddy Venkateswarlu at party head office here. The inclusion of Navaratnas (nine election promises) and the welfare of tenant farmers in the AP were discussed in detail in the meeting.

Speaking to media after the meeting, chaired by the party president, manifesto committee chairman Ummareddy Venkateswarlu said, “Our leader has said that the issue of tenant farmers should be considered without harming the interests of the land owners.”

He said that the economics and feasibility of all the welfare schemes included in the Navaratnas are being methodically worked out as to how they would be met with. The financial implications and the feasibility are the focal areas of discussion, the YCP leader said.

“We will compile all the issues that were brought to the notice of Jaganmohan Reddy during his Padayatra and include them in the manifesto under the appropriate head in the most feasible manner,” Venkateswarlu said.

There were numerous local issues that were brought to the notice of Jagan during his Padayatra and the information and requests would be thoroughly discussed.

The representations given and issues raised will be taken into cognisance of while compiling the final draft of the manifesto, he said and added that committee would meet again on March 12 in Vijayawada to take the discussion and drafting of the manifesto further.
