Narendra Modi again misleading AP
Srikakulam: TDP MP K Rammohan Naidu on Thursday alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was again trying to mislead AP people by making political announcements ahead of his visit to Visakhapatnam. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he said that the Prime Minister was feared with TDP leaders agitations on railway zone and against his visit to Visakhapatnam.
He said that the railway zone was announced hurriedly by diverting revenue generated areas to Odisha state and keeping only service wings in AP which is not at all acceptable to the people. MP demanded integrated and exclusive railway zone for AP state without any restrictions and deviations. He also stressed on inclusion of Pundi to Itchapuram stations in Visakhapatnam zone for its development.
He came down heavily on Modi and Piyush Goyal for winding of historical Waltair division, which is revenue generating zone in existing East Coast railway and demanded not to shift the zone and include it in Rayagada zone.
He also criticised the YSRCP and BJP leaders for acting irresponsibly about the injustice meted out to AP and for not expressing their dissatisfaction towards Central government’s negligence. Srikakulam MLA G Laxmidevi, TDP leaders Ch Narayana Murthy, M Venkatesh and M Krishnamurthy Naidu were present.
