Career guidance programme held in Ongole
Ongole: The secretary and correspondent of QIS Pharmacy College in Ongole, Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy and chairman of the Nidamanuri Educational Society Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao announced that an awareness programme on the career guidance was held in their college for the third year students of electronics and
communication, electrical and electronics, information technology and computer science engineering on Tuesday.
They said that the Triumphant Institute of Management Education Ltd (T.I.M.E.) Nellore manager and GATE faculty Sirish and CAT senior faculty from their Ongole institute K Ramakrishna participated as the resource persons for the programme.
Ramakrishna explained about the Common Admission Test (CAT) and its need for engineering graduates to get admission in IIM and NIM for MBA while Sirish explained about GATE how it is used as the eligibility criteria for admission in M Tech at IIT and NIT or for the employment in public undertaking companies.
The HoD of ECE Dr Ch Himabindu, EEE Dr Moulichandra, CSE & IT Dr Narasimharao appreciated the students attended for the awareness programme.
