Civic chief inspects sanitation

Vijayawada: Municipal Commissioner J Nivas ordered the concerned officers to take steps for the development of crematorium near ESI Hospital.As part of city visit to review sanitation in the city, he covered Loyola College road, ESI Hospital road, Kristhu Puram road and some other areas on Wednesday.He ordered the public health officers to use machines to clean the margins and dividers of the road.

After that, he reviewed cleanliness at Vinayak Theater road and found that there was trouble with the drainage system. He suggested the contractors to construct the new drainage system in that area. He also reviewed the road restoration works at SC Colony road, ESI road after the completion of the underground cable work.

He directed the engineering officials to complete the work within stipulated time.He inspected development works at the crematorium at ESI hospital.Executive engineer Prabakar, Health Officer D Rama Kotaswarao and other officers were present.
