Tributes paid to Gali Muddu Krishnama
Tirupati: Leaders, party activists, people and followers joined in paying tributes to TDP senior leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu on his first death anniversary held in Nagari, 70 km from here on Thursday.
Chittoor MP and a companion of Muddu Krishnama in TDP right from its inception Dr N Sivaprasad recalled the services of late leader for the development of Chittoor district particularly Nagari border area.
Naidu till his last breath remained close to the people and was always available for any one needy earning him the fame of ‘Prajala Manishi’, he said recalling his close association with Naidu and his services to the people of Nagari. Gali Bhanuprakash, TDP Nagari constituency in-charge and son of Muddu Krishnama, vowed to continue the selfless services of his father and affirmed that like his father he would be available always to the people and party activists to solve their problems. A big number of people from Nagari area and other places gathered to remember the leader on the occasion of his first death anniversary.
Naidu, who won the confidence and love of TDP founder NT Rama Rao, served various positions in the party and government including as MLA, Minister and State party functionary. He was first elected as MLA from Puttur in 1983 and served as education and forest minister in TDP
government.
