YSRCP starts regional meets to woo BC voters

Tirupati: In the back drop of ruling TDP Jayaho BC meetings, Opposition YSR Congress Party  started its efforts to attract the BC community voters region wise.

As part of the strategy to consolidate the BCs vote bank the party is organising regional level meetings. The YSRC BC wing held the first regional level BC leaders meeting at its party office in Tummalagunta near here on Friday.

In the meeting party BC wing state president JagnaKrishnamurthy  addressed the leaders and directed them to mobilise people for theparty president YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s BC Garjana meeting which will be held on 17 Feb.

The party BC wing  leaders have conducted the regional level meeting in Chief Minister’s home turf Chittoor district. Leadersfrom  Kurnool, Chittoor, Kadapa, Anantapur and Nellore districts were present at the meeting.  

All the district party presidents and state leaders have discussed the problems of BC community caste wise and they assured to the cadre that party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy will announcebetter welfare schemes for BCs development  when compared to the schemes announced by the ruling the TDP. 

Former ministers YS Vivekananda Reddy and PeddyreddyRamchandra Reddy held discussions to strengthen the party in Rayalaseema and in Nellore Districts. They directed the leaders to work actively in villages and to highlight the problems being faced by  BCs.  

Later BC wing state president JangaKrishnamurthy has explained the BC community socio and economical problems which were identified by them in a special study in the State.

He gave an appeal to the BC leaders to mobilise people in large numbers to BC Garjenameeting to be addressed by Jaganmohan Reddy in Vijayawada on 17 Feb. In the meeting  Chandragiri MLA ChevireddyBhaskar Reddy and several  former MLAs, MLCs also participated.
