Man dies after being hit by APSRTC bus 

Visakhapatnam: A 35-year-old person died on the spot when an APSRTC bus hit him while he was crossing the road at Chodavaram RTC Complex in the district on Monday. According to the police, the deceased was identified as D Srinivasa Rao,35, a resident of Kasimkota under Anakapalli police station limits. He working as operator at a flour mill near Chodavaram.

On Monday morning, while crossing the road at the outgate of Chodavaram RTC Complex, he fell on the road after hitting a road divider. At the same time, from the other side, a speeding RTC bus coming from Anakapalli, had hit him. In the mishap, Srinivasa Rao sustained serious injuries on his head and died on the spot. Police registered a case and shifted the body for post-mortem.
