Lecturer booked under POCSO Act

Kakinada: Pitani Nooka Raju, a lecturer in YSRL College, Samarlakota in East Godavari, has been booked under POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offence) for indulging in sexual harassment of a first year degree student of the college.

According to Samarlakota police SHO Srinivasa Nayak, an FIR was filed under POCSO Act. The police are searching for the absconding lecturer, the SHO revealed.
