CII to promote Maha Kumbh Mela in UP
Visakhapatnam: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) joined hands with Government of Uttar Pradesh in promoting one of the world’s biggest event ‘Maha Kumbh Mela 2019.’
After the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognised the Maha Kumbh Mela as one of the world’s biggest event, the CII has decided to share a part of responsibilities of Uttar Pradesh Government to promote the event across the country.
Kumbh is a symbol of peace and harmony amongst all human beings. The Kumbh Mela has been inscribed on the list of ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity’ by UNESCO in 2017.
Which reflects the significance of Kumbh worldwide, Kumbh at Prayagraj encapsulates the science of astronomy, astrology, spirituality, ritualistic traditions, social and cultural customs and practices making it extremely rich in knowledge, the CII said about its joining with the UP Government.
As part of promoting the mega event across the country, the CII team along with Uttar Pradesh ministers and senior IAS officers touring all the important cities in the country and one of the teams is coming to the Visakhapatnam city on Sunday led by Satish Mahana, Minister for Industrial Development, UP and Rajesh Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development UP.
The UP Government has envisioned Divya and Bhavya Kumbh scheduled from January 15 to March 4, 2019 at Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh. It’s an unforgettable pilgrimage experience to crores of devotees visiting Kumbh.
Blending the grand traditions of Kumbh with the deployment of modern techniques and solutions so that the kalpavasis, spiritual gurus, dignitaries, foreign visitors, and the pilgrims have a life emancipating experience during their visit to Prayagraj.
The UP Government has planned various marketing strategies to promote the biggest spiritual event Maha Kumbh Mela. “The CII is also joining hands with the government to promote the spiritual tourism in the country,” E Syam Prasad, Executive Officer, CII, told The Hans India.
