Chandrababu Naidu on official visit to Kuppam on Jan 2
Tirupati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will launch the 6th phase of Janmabhoomi programme at Kuppam on January 2. District Collector PS Pradyumna held a review meeting at Kuppam on Thursday on the arrangements to be made for the Chief Minister’s visit.
He said that Naidu will reach the town on the morning of January 2 and will inaugurate the welfare, skill development and training centre at National Academy of Construction (NAC) building there.
Later, he will inaugurate the Government Degree College in the town and address the students. Also, Naidu will lay foundation stone for Rail over Bridge (RoB) and participate in the public meeting at NTR stadium.
He will distribute tools for Adarana–2 scheme beneficiaries, and cheques and assets to other beneficiaries. Naidu will participate in the Janmabhoomi programme at Vaddipalli village of Kuppam mandal and inaugurate houses under the NTR Housing Scheme.
He will also meet horticulture farmers and will hold party meeting with leaders at PES Medical College. Later, he will review the development works with district officials.
On January 3, he will receive representations and perform ground breaking ceremony to Kuppam air strip at Vijalapuram and departure from the district.
The Collector and other officials have visited all the places which CM will be visiting during his programme. District SP Vikranth Patil, Joint Collector PS Girisha, Sub Collector Ch Keerthi, Joint Collector-2 VR Chandramouli, MLC G Srinivasulu, CM PA Manohar and other officials took part.
