AP Mahila Samakhya district meet from Dec 16

Bhimavaram: Andhra Pradesh Mahila Samakhya would be conducting its district for two days from December 16, said  Galla Sarada, district general secretary.

Talking to newsmen at the CPI office at Velerupadu near here on Friday she said that the government had miserably failed to provide women empowerment, education, medical help, and employment opportunities. 

She said that the government remained mute spectator to the atrocities being committed against women.

The district committee was formed with Karatam Settamahalakshmi as president,  Madakam Indira as secretary and eleven others as executive committee members.

CPI leaders Md Muneer, Saannepalli Saibabu, Pitta Prasad and others were present.
