Motivate youngsters to become entrepreneurs
Anantapur: District Collector Veera Pandian has asked District Industries Centre (DIC) General Manager and others concerned to motivate youngsters to set up small and medium scale industries which are labour intensive.
Addressing a meeting of prospective Dalit entrepreneurs here on Wednesday, Veera Pandian called upon the Industries Department to encourage prospective entrepreneurs to set up industries and create awareness to them in this regard. He advised against rejecting any application but properly fine tune their projects and make them viable.
He called for creation of infrastructure facilities in industrial estates and parks and resolve land issues if any and help them to kick-start their projects hassle-free. He asked the Industries Department to involve bankers and ensure that all financial bottle-necks are removed. He said that already 42 industrial units worth Rs 1.89 crore had recently been cleared. Industries general manager G Sudarshan Babu presided.
