Vijayawada: If the state government neglects unemployed youth and DSC aspirants, the state government would face the same situation which was faced by TDP and Congress in Telangana in the 2019 assembly elections, said Hindi Seva Sadhan general secretary Gaibu Valli here on Tuesday.

Valli alleged that the state government had been cheating the DSC aspirants for the last four years. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had promised to fill the vacancies in all the government schools but failed to announce DSC notification to fill the vacancies, he added.

He also said through rationalisation, about 4,500 Hindi teacher posts in 13 districts were supposed to be filled. But they were not filled.

He said that the aspirants of Group I, II and III Panchayat secretaries, Junior and degree college lecturers had been disappointed and were angry with the government’s ‘delayed tactics’.

Gaibu Valli further said that the Chief Minister had announced Rs 1,000 dole for the unemployed youth in the state which was not asked by them.

They were demanding employment, not dole, he said. He also suggested to the government to increase the number of DSC posts by issuing notification afresh.
