Stella students excel in competitions

Vijayawada: The students of Maris Stella College won first, second and third prizes in various competitions conducted as part of golden jubilee celebrations of Board of Intermediate at Montessori Mahikla Kalasala, said the college former principal, Dr SR Rekha here on Monday.

Rekha said that the college was providing a platform to the students to present their talents and encourage them in various fields so that the students will not feel pressure. The main aim of the college was to provide value based and need based education to students to transform into future good citizens.

She appreciated and congratulated the students who have participated in Rangoli, Essay-writing competition, Elocution, Skit, mono action, painting, quiz and singing and who have received prizes from Udaya Lakshmi, Commissioner, Board of Intermediate at PB Siddhartha College.

Dr J Asha Kumari, Vice-principal, V Swapna, coordinator, cultural events and the participants were present on the occasion.
