SKSD students excel in sports

Tanuku: Students of SKSD Mahila Kalasala (Junior) stood in first place in Kovvuru divisional-level sports competitions held at Boys Junior College, Nidadavole on December 4 to mark golden jubilee celebrations of Intermediate education in the state.

In a press note released here, the college principal, M Rajendra Prasad said that S Meghana bagged first place in shuttle badminton. Meghana and Namrata won first prize in doubles. 

In 300 mts running D Taraka Mahalakshmi, in 200 mts and 100 mts running P Bhumika, in long jump Taraka Mahalakshmi secured the first place.

In long jump, S Rajakumari, in 300 mts Madhu Nagadurga, in shot put Gyothi Sai Durga, in 200 mts M Bhanu Rekha stood in third place. The winners would participate in district-level competitions, he said.

The college management and teaching staff congratulated the winners.
