Will amend law to provide jobs to locals - YS Jagan assured

Srikakulam: We will amend law if we came to power in coming elections to provide 75 percent jobs to locals in private industries assured YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He covered Ponduru and Etcherla mandals in two assembly segments on Thursday in Srikakulam district and addressed in a public meeting at Chilakapalem. On the occasion he assured to amend law in favour of locals to provide jobs in private companies situated in their locality. 

Responding to public grievances on denial of jobs to locals in various industries located in Etcherla assembly segment Jagan assured to amend law and make it as mandatory to provide 75 percent jobs to locals. Jagan lamented chief minister Chandrababu Naidu publicity stunt even on natural calamity like Titli instead of doing justice to victims. Jagan questioned what is the need of display of flexe boards’ in Vijayawada and Viskhapatnam and other cities on government aid to Titli victims, why the government is wasting huge amount of public money on publicity.

Jagan said that weavers and farmers are worst sufferers in the TDP rule as weavers societies are going to close in the state due to government negligence. Farmers also unable to cultivate crops as irrigate water not available to their fields as projects are yet to finish he lamented. YS Jagan also explained that IT sector was flourished more during YS RajaSekhar Reddy regime than Chandrababu rule in IT development, IT exports, number of job opportunities etc.

TDP government is concentrating only on corporate sector by neglecting agriculture and allied areas he alleged. Earlier on the day during Pada yatra villagers of Ponduru and Etcherla mandals poured their woes before YS Jagan regarding industrial pollution, nonpayment of compensation for loss of crops due to cyclone etc.
