Couple commits suicide by jumping in front of train in Tirupati

Tirupati: In a tragic incident, a young couple committed suicide by plunging before a running train near Kuppam railway station, on Wednesday.

According to Kuppam police, the duo was identified as Mounisha and Hemachandra from Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu studying final year BSc in a local college. They were in love for the past one year and but their parents opposed it forcing the couple resorting to the extreme step of ending their lives. The mishap site bore a gory look with the severed body parts of the couple stern on the railway track.

A case has been registered.
