Spread knowledge to mankind, students told

Tanuku: Dr YVD Nageshwar, retired chief scientist at Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad has called upon the students to preserve and spread scientific knowledge to mankind after developing it.

He participated as special guest at the inaugural of a national seminar on ‘Role of chemistry in human life’ at SKSD Women’s College here on Monday.  
   
He said that chemistry is one of knowledge sources provided by god and students should continue their work on the subject by developing interest in it.

Scientists would emerge when students show keen interest in their subject of study, he added. 

Chief guest and secretary of AP Academy of Sciences, Amaravati Prof Mandava Basaveswara Rao said that everything could be achieved through human resources. 
With the help of the government, students should try to improve skills which paves the way for development and progress, he said.

Dr Chaganti Krishna Kumari, retired reader, women’s college, Kothagudem also spoke. Prof V Peesapati was the convener. The college principal Dr B Nagapadmavati presided over.
