QIS students torch Narakasura

Ongole: The students from the QIS High School and QIS Public School in Kurnool Road celebrated the Deepavali in the campus, one day ahead, on Tuesday. They made the effigy of Narakasura and burned it to mark the win of good over evil. The children lit the campus with the lights and diyas and enjoyed the day with games, songs and fun.

In their message, the Nidamanuri Educational Trust chairman Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao and secretary Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy asked the students to celebrate a green, pollution-free and Happy Deepavali. The QIS High School principal Vaka Vedavati, QIS Public School principal Parankusam Kumar and teaching and non-teaching staff also participated in the celebrations.B
