Spl training for SSC, Intermediate candidates

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) started special training programme through all the Government and Private ITIs in the State to develop the skills for tenth and Intermediate passed unemployed youth, according to APSSDC Deputy CEO Krithika Shukla here on Tuesday.

She informed that the first batch classes would commence from December 2 for about 5,280 unemployed youth. 

As many as 75 government ITIs across the state were identified for the skill training programme under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. 

Special training will be provided in plumbing, automotive, construction activity, electronics, hardware, electrician, capital goods, apparel and home furnishing courses for a period of 45-60 days.

Krithika Shukla informed the principals of ITIs to set up a separate a classroom in their campuses at a review meeting with the state ITI college principals in the state head office. 

She also suggested that special attention should be shown on rural youth from mandals in the circle.
