Create awareness among people on TDP govt failures, BJP activists told

Guntur: BJP core committee meeting held in Guntur city on Sunday discussed on land grabbing, illegal mining, illegal sand quarrying, allotment of lands taken from the farmers for setting up Special Economic Zones, increase of corruption and implementation of anti-people policies by the TDP government. 

The meeting felt that the people would not tolerate corruption in the government and wondered why Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had withdrawn general consent to the CBI when no irregularities were committed in the State.

The meeting directed the party leaders and activists to explain failures of the TDP government and the rampant corruption in State to people. They were told to explain achievements of the Modi-led NDA government at the Centre during the last four-and-half years.

The BJP leaders were also asked to take measures to strengthen the party right from the grass-root level. The meeting felt that the voters will teach a fitting lesson to the TDP government in the State. 

BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav, party  state president Kanna Lakshminarayana, MP GVL Narasimha Rao, party state affairs in-charge Muralidharan, former Union Ministers Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, Daggubati Purandeswari, MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju, MLC Madhav and party national secretary Satya Kumar attended the meeting.
