Float fest of Sun God to be held on Nov 20 

Srikakulam: The Float festival of Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple in Arasavalli will be held on November 20 on the eve of Chilukala Dwadasi, said the temple executive officer (EO) R Pushpa Nadham.

After procession of the Sun God along with Goddesses, Usha, Chaya and Padmini around the temple in the evening, the Float festival would be held at Indra Puskarini.

Revenue, police and temple officials have made elaborate arrangements to meet the rush of devotees. At least 15,000 devotees are expected to visit Float festival. Special counters for prasadams and darsana tickets will be arranged on that day, the EO said.
