Transparent political system need of the hour: Pawan Kalyan

Kakinada/Rajamahendravaram: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan called upon people to vote for a change and for a clean and corruption-free government. A new transparent and an accountable political system is required under the present circumstances, he said.

Addressing a public meeting at Gollala Mamidada in Anaparti  Assembly constituency on  Wednesday evening , Pawan asked the public not to yield to money power for casting votes in favour of those who pay money. Pawan stressed the need for ensuring remunerative price to farmers.

He said that he will initiate measures for effective functioning of Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) and cooperative banks. Sugar factories closed for various reasons will also be reopened.

Turning his attention towards existing political scenario, Pawan made it clear that he is against caste politics.  No political party is speaking about the country, but they have been using caste, creed and colour for their votes.

But JSP is against this system and it came into existence cutting across caste, creed and colour, he noted. The Jana Sena chief flayed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for giving his name to several schemes instead of naming them after great leaders like Potti Sriramulu and Tanguturi Prakasam.

Pawan alleged that Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy forcefully grabbed lands from SCs to build memorial for his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district.

The actor-turned-politician said that he is not weak in any aspect and added that many political parties are under a wrong impression that he cannot do anything.  He said that he will not spare anyone who tries to tarnish his image with baseless allegations and he is ready to prove his strength.

The Jana Sena chief said both Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy failed in discharging their duties. The duo failed to utter even a single word against Telangana leaders who abused Andhra Pradesh people at the time of division of the State, he said.
