Two RTC buses collide on Srisailam ghat road, 13 injured

Dornala: About 13 passengers are injured in an incident in which two APSRTC busses were collide on the Srisailam Ghat Road in the Friday evening.

According to locals and police, the Kurnool to Srisailam bus and Srisailam to Markapuram bus were collide between Sikharam and Chinarikatla on the ghat road. The locals shifted 13 passengers from both the buses to government hospitals in Dornala and Sundipenta. The drivers said that it is a steep turn and they didn’t able to observe the other bus coming on the way.

The police identified the injured as Sk Gousia, Y Guravamma, K Subbulu, B Satish, T Ramakrishna, S Venkataiah, JR Aparna, Md Murthuja, Y Raju, Yonoriva, K Kumar, K Rajesh Naik and the Rayadurgam Bus driver M Ramudu. The doctors announced that most of the passengers suffered minor injuries and there is no life threat to any of them. The RTC authorities arranged alternate buses to the remaining passengers to continue the journey.
