Medical camp held as part of Dhanvantri jayanti

Vijayawada: Assembly Deputy Speaker Mandali Buddha Prasad participated as the chief guest at Dhanvantri Jayanti celebrations organised at Siddhartha Arts and Science College here on Monday.

A medical camp was organised on the occasion and medicines to the patients were given free of cost. A sand sculpture of Dhanvantri was portrayed on the college premises.

Cultural programmes were organised, including Kuchipudi dance and Burra Katha.

Later, RMPs and PMPs conference was held and problems of Nayi Brahmin profession, their problems, education, employment opportunities, social development and government support to the community were discussed on the occasion.

ZP chairperson Gadde Anuradha, department of culture and language CEO Vijaybhaskar and others were present.
