Govt paid 520 cr compensation in 25 days, claims Lokesh

Srikakulam: TDP government paid Rs 520 crore compensation amount to Titli victims within 25 days, said Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural development N Lokesh. The minister distributed compensation amount to cyclone victims in Mandasa mandal on Monday.

On the occasion, he said TDP government restored normalcy on quick pace and paid compensation in 25 days which is a record in our country. We have provided meals to victims and implementing MGNREGS for removal of trees in farm fields he explained.  

Both YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan are poster sons of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and due to this reason, they are unable to put pressure on Centre seeking compensation for Titli victims, he commented. 

Lokesh assured that he will adopt Mandasa mandal and develop  it in all aspects. ``The YSRCP and Jana Sena have been continuously trying to create hurdles for development works in Andhra Pradesh. 

Even in cyclone restoration works, they are not extending their support to the government, The two parties are ignoring to protect the interests and welfare of victims,’’  Lokesh flayed.
