NorthEast Monsoon entered in AP & TS

Update: 2018-11-02 18:06 IST

After the much disappointed southwest monsoon in the state, northeast monsoon entered in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states last night.

During the southwest monsoon, which withdrawn recently, the state has not received good rains and out of 13 districts in Andhra Pradesh, just 4 districts only received normal rainfall and the other districts registered scanty and less falls.

With this, all the water bodies almost dried up and the government is expecting good rains at least from the northeast monsoon.

“The cool wind already entered in both Telugu states. According to the previous seasons, one or two cyclones/depression may occur during the northwest monsoon season, one of the IMD scientists told The Hans India.

Presently a trough is moving across the coastal belt from Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and good rains expected in the next 48-hours, he added.
