Shopping complex at AMC in Rajamahendravaram opened

Rajamahendravaram: Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa has said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is always thinking for the welfare of farming community in the state and implementing many schemes for them. 

Inaugurating a shopping complex on the premises of Agricultural Market Committee (AMC) here on Wednesday, he said Naidu directed the officials to strengthen all AMCs in the state by providing necessary facilities to the farmers, including cold storage and godown facility. He asked the farmers to bring their produce to AMCs and store them until they get remunerative price.

He asked AMC management to give priority for women and handicapped in allotting the shops in the new complex. As many as 23 shops were constructed at a cost of Rs 75 lakh. He appreciated AMC chairman Tanakala Nageswara Rao for developing the market.

MP Maganti Murali Mohan, MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary, MLC Adireddy Appa Rao, GUDA chairman Ganni Krishna, Mayor PRS Sai, AMC chairman TN Rao and others were present.
