Archery Championship concludes in vijayawada
Vijayawada: Prizes were distributed to the winners on the concluding day of Cherukuri Lenin-Volga Memorial National Archery Championship 11th mini (Under-14) and 3rd open kids (Under-9) here on Sunday.
CPI city secretary Donepudi Shankar, Olympic Association treasurer KP Rao and AP Archery Association general secretary Cherukuri Satyanarayana participated in the prize distribution programme.
The championship was jointly organised by the Andhra Pradesh Archery Association, the Cherukuri Volga Academy, the SAAP, the KDSA and the KDOA.
Prizes were given to winners in various categories. Under 14 Indian Round Boys - 30 Meters catagory, first prize won by Rohit Kumar, Uttar Pradesh, second Rahul Singh of Jharkhand and third Alpi Tudu of Jharkhand.
In Under 14 Indian Round Boys - 20 Meters category, first prize bagged by Rohit Kumar of Uttar Pradesh, second prize by Shiva Gwala and third by Nishant Singh.
In Under 14 Indian Round Boys Individual Olympic Round category, Rahul Singh of Jharkhand stood first followed by Rohit Kumar, Uttar Pradesh (second) and third Krish from Harayana.
Under 14 Indian Round Girls 30 Meters, first prize won by Sarita Kumari, Jharkhand, second Moirangthem, Manipur and third Bhawana Singh, Uttar Pradesh.
Under 14 Indian Round Girls 20 Meters category, first prize received by Nikita Kumari, Jharkhand, second Sabitri Kumari, Jharkhand and third Bhawana Singh from Uttar Pradesh.
In Under 14 Indian Round Girls Individual Olympic Round category, first prize winner is Nikita Kumari, Jharkhand, second H Sandhyarani Devi, Manipur and third Sabitri Kumari from Jharkhand.
Prizes were given to other winner in various categories on the concluding day.
