He alleged that the TDP leaders were planning to take over the AgriGold properties and undervaluing the properties for the last four years. He compared Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s rule to the rule of Adolf Hitler saying that the TDP government would not tolerate questioning.

He said the TDP government created hurdles to the Essel Group and prevented it from purchasing the AgriGold properties. He said the BJP had extended support to the TDP with a hope of developing AP but the TDP government became very corrupt and failed to develop the State during the last four years.

Ram Madhav flayed the TDP government for its failure to construct the capital city and not maintaining transparency in administration. BJP Rajya Sabha MP G V L Narasimha Rao questioned as to why the TDP government was undervaluing the properties of AgriGold company. He said the BJP would extend support to the 32 lakh AgriGold victims and would continue the fight till they get justice.

GVL compared the TDP rule in Andhra Pradesh with the rule of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. He said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would meet the same fate as former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.

BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana said the BJP would continue its fight till AgriGold victims get justice. He recalled that the State government had earlier announced the value of the properties of AgriGold at Rs 25,000 crore in 2015 and it had gradually reduced the value to only Rs 2,200 crore by 2018.

He said the TDP leaders were hatching a conspiracy to take over the AgriGold properties at any cost and delaying the repayment of deposits to the victims. Narasapuram MP Gokaraju Gangaraju, former minister P Manikyala Rao and other leaders participated in the relay fast on the first Day on Monday.
