Rajnath Singh to lay stone for AP BJP office on Oct 16
Vijayawada: Union Minister for Home Affairs Rajnath Singh will lay foundation stone for AP BJP’s new party office through digital technology from party office in Guntur on October 16.
Later the party leaders will conduct Bhoomi Puja at office location near Kolanukonda village in Guntur district on October 17. The AP BJP is going to construct new office with modern facilities.
In fact, the AP BJP set a muhurtham to lay foundation stone for new office two months ago. Union Minister Piyush Goyal should have laid foundation stone for the proposed party office. But the AP BJP had to postpone schedule due to demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Now the party set new muhurtham for foundation stone laying ceremony.
The AP BJP made plans to construct party office in one-acre site near to Amaravati capital location. The land was donated by party sympathiser Madala Srinivas for the party office construction. Interestingly, the Telugu Desam, YSR Congress and Jana Sena have also selected the same location for construction of party offices.
The state BJP planned to construct new office in Amaravati capital location following the instructions of national leadership which is keen to establish own buildings for party affairs in all the states.
