495 calls received in Guntur through Dial 100 in September

Guntur: Rural police received 495 phone calls to Dial 100 during September 2018, out of which 67 calls were related to offences against women. 

Calls received on bodily offences 80, calls received on accidents 32 and calls relating to property offences 10. Calls received on other categories were 407. 

Four calls were relating to suicides. The police department registered 38 cases.

Guntur Rural SP Ch Venkata Appala Naidu  urged the people to avail the facility provided by the police to solve their problems.
