ASRAM gets NABH recognition for quality health care in Eluru

Eluru: The Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences (ASRAM) secured recognition from Delhi-based National Accreditation Board for Hospital and Health Care Provider (NABH) for providing quality medical care to patients and establishing modern facilities.

The hospital director Dr Anji Reddy informed the media on Friday that a team of NABH had inspected ASRAM and satisfied with the facilities being provided to patients. It accorded an accreditation to the hospital, he said.

This is the first time in both Telugu-speaking states that a hospital gets the prestigious identity. It was the first hospital which had been providing modern facilities in all departments of the hospital in the two states.

The hospital CEO Dr K Hanumantha Rao, Superintendent S Vijaya Mohan, RMO Phani Koteswara Rao and others expressed joy over the achievement. 

They said the hospital would improve its functioning further in future.
