Novel protest against fuel price hike in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The leaders of YSRCP have participated in a novel protest against the Central and Stage governments for levying huge taxes on diesel and petrol resulting to the abnormal increase in fuel prices which was affecting the lives of common people. 

At Lenin Centre here on Sunday, the leaders tied rope to Auto Rickshaw and pulled it in protest against fuel hike.

Addressing the gathering, former MLA and YSRCP city working president Malladi Vishnu said that both the Central and State government were levying huge taxes on fuel affecting the common people.

Former MLA Vellampalli Srinivas said that they would not support the Bandh call given by the Congress on diesel and petrol hike. 

He said Shivaji was a comedy actor in AP politics and was acting as per the direction of  CM Chandrababu Naidu.

YSRCP leaders Yalamanchali Ravi and others participated in the protest.
