Moderate rain likely in AP from September 7 to 10

Hyderabad: Wednesday’s well-marked low-pressure area over the north-west Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood concentrating into a depression that lay centered at 5.30 am on Thursday over the adjoining West Bengal-north Odisha coasts, the department bulletin said.

It moved slightly west-wards and intensified into a deep depression over the same region and lay centered at 8.30 am about 20 km east-southeast of Digha (West Bengal).  

It is likely to move west-northwestwards and weaken gradually into a well-marked low-pressure area during next 24 hours. The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few/isolated places in the state from September 7 to 10.
