VIPS director Dr TV Narayana attends world pharmacy meet in Scotland

Rajamahendravaram: Vikas Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (VIPS) director and Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) president Dr TV Narayana has represented India at 78th International Pharmacy Federation's World Congress of Pharmacy held in Glasgow city of Scotland, UK.

The international conference started on September 2. It will conclude on September 6.

The theme of the congress is Pharmacy Transforming Outcomes. During the conference, he studied the latest innovations and scientific technological developments in the field of pharmacy education, hospital and community pharmacy, industry and research abroad. 

VIPS vice-principal Dr G Sumalatha also presented scientific research paper 'Knowledge, attitude and practice of community pharmacists towards adverse drug reactions reporting'.

VIPS chairman TCH Subba Rao, Dr S Muralidhar, faculty congratulated Narayana for his representation from India in the congress.
