Textile merchants extend help to Kerala victims in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The Vijayawada Textiles Merchants Welfare Association, Governorpet  has contributed a donation of Rs 50,000 to the victims of Kerala flood. 

A cheque for the same was sent to Kerala Chief Minister Relief Fund, according to the association president, P Bhima Rao and secretary Ch Nageswara Rao.

Speaking on the occasion here on Wednesday, they said that Kerala was badly affected with the floods and appealed to all the people to extend their help. 

NGOs, voluntarily organisations and others should extend their support, they added.

Association members M Kodanda Ramprasad, BK Kishore, MA Dinesh and others were present.
