QISIT students celebrate freshers day at Vengamukkapalem
Ongole: The Computer Science and Engineering department in the QIS Institute of Technology at Vengamukkapalem here organised freshers’ day on Sunday.
President of Nidamanuri Educational Trust attended the celebrations as chief guest.
The college secretary and correspondent, Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy, appreciated the second year students for making beautiful arrangements for the freshers’ party and presented cash prizes to the best rankers in EAMCET and meritorious students in the second year batch.
The college principal Dr Kilari Veeraswamy said that B Tech course was a crucial period in one’s life and it affects the entire career.
The students actively performed folk, cine dances and participated in ramp walk with traditional and western attires and the seniors and juniors interacted with one another with various competitions.
The head of the computer science department Dr Y NArasimha Rao, head of humanities and sciences department Dr Kondalarao and other staff also participated in the fresher’s day celebrations with the students.
