Left to announce political alternative at Maha Garjana in Vijayawada
Akiveedu: The Left parties, CPI and CPM, along with Jana Sena Party will make an announcement on political alternative to the State at Maha Garjana public meeting to be held at Vijayawada on September 15. The people awareness campaign by the CPM in this regard reached Koppanapudi of Akiveedu mandal on Monday. Addressing the gathering in the village, CPM district executive member JNV Gopalan said that the left parties would provide a better alternative with the help of other like-minded parties in the next elections.
He alleged that TDP had come to power with false promises and making lives of people miserable with its anti-people policies. The party had cheated all sections of people. Both BJP at the Centre and TDP at State level had colluded to cheat people on according Special Category Status.
He demanded that the government should come to the rescue of farmers and tenant who lost their crop in recent rains and flood. The people of West Godavari had been suffering from water contamination as the government was silent on digging on aqua farms, he complained. The CPM leader urged people to support the laying seize of mandal offices on September 3.
