GMC schools competing with corporates in teaching says K Kanna Babu
Guntur: Director of Municipal Administration K Kanna Babu has said that 95 per cent of municipal corporation students passed in the SSC Public Examination and more students got 10/10 GPA.
He conducted a meeting with the SSC students and teachers at Chebrolu Mahalaskhamma Pullaiah High School at Stambalagaruvu in Guntur on Saturday.
He said that teachers in the municipal corporation schools were teaching on par with the corporate schools and added that GMC schools have better facilities than corporate schools.
He reminded that GMC started IIT foundation course for merit and sharp students studying in the schools and urged the students to use facilities in the school and to come up life.
He reminded that those who studied in the municipal corporation schools are now in good position.
He further said that GMC schools have qualified and talented teachers.
He urged the students to get 10/10- GPA in the SSC this year also and directed the teachers give good coaching and encourage the students to get 10/10-GPA.
He directed the teachers to conduct special classes for students studying IIT Foundation Course and conduct examinations.
He urged the students to do hard work to get good marks and instructed the teachers to conduct meetings with the parents.
GMC additional commissioner K Ramachandra Reddy and state coordinator Subba Rao were present.
