DGP inaugurates solar power plant

Visakhapatnam: Vacancies in the Anti-Corruption Bureau should be filled up, said Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police RP Thakur. He inaugurated the five kilo watts solar power plant and laid the foundation stone for Joggers Park which would be constructed adjacent to the highway near Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) office here on Tuesday. 

Present DGP RP Thakur also served in ACB before assuming charge as AP DGP. Thakur, who is on way to participate in the Independence Day celebrations, along with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, which to be held at Srikakulam, reached Visakhapatnam here on Tuesday and inaugurated 5KW solar power plant which was situated on the top floor of ACB office and laid the foundation to a park.

Speaking on the occasion, he stated that good health is the real wealth, so to maintain good health human beings should exercise regularly  and  walk  at least for an hour in the day, the park which was to be constructed will be useful to the residents of dairy farm area.

District Collector K Pravin Kumar, DIG of Visakha Range  Srikanth, City Police Commissioner Mahesh Chandra Laddah and other officials were present on the occasion.
