Chandrababu Naidu to visit Vizianagaram tomorrow

 Vizianagaram: The district administration in making arrangements for the visit of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu which is slated for August 14. Roads are being laid as a part of works on war-footing. The Chief Minister would make a night halt here. 

The Chief Minister will visit Salur constituency and address a public gathering there. Later, he will tour Vizianagaram town and lay the foundation stones for works worth Rs 4 crore. Minister for Mines and Geology RVSK Ranga Rao, former Union Minister P Ashok Gajapathiraju and other MLAs convened a review meeting to discuss about the arrangements.  

Collector Hari Jawaharlal visited the Zilla Parishad guest house where the Chief Minister would make a night halt on August 14. The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for an additional building of Vizianagaram municipality and road extension works.  

The administration is arranging water proof tents for Salur public meeting. On the other hand, YSR Congress Party demanded that the Chief Minister step into the district only after reopening the closed jute mills and setting up of medical college as per the assurances given long ago.
