MRPS will not promote Casteism, says Manda Krishna Madiga

Markapuram: The Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti will not promote casteism, said MRPS national president Manda Krishna Madiga in Markapuram on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media at the local press club, Krishna Madiga alleged that all political parties are promoting casteism to achieve power. 

He said that the poor are remaining poor irrespective of castes while the bigwigs in the state and Central governments are using caste to earn thousands of crores of rupees.

He alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu bought thousands of acres illegally. He questioned that how come the son of a poor man who didn’t have a own house can become a landlord of thousands of acres and earn thousands of rupees. 

He suspected that the information about the proposed capital area is leaked to a caste politicians very early and that’s how they bought thousands of acres of land at Amaravati prior to the Sivaramakrishna Committee submits its report. 

He said that just 50 percent of the illegal earning by an MLA is enough to develop his constituency.

Krishna Madiga said that it is okay to love one’s own caste, but it should not develop into hatred on others. 

He said that it is the MRPS that protested in support of the protestors when Mohan Babu and his family insulted Brahmin community or Kancha Ilaiah insulted Vysyas.

The MRPS state president Usurupati Brahmaiah, state secretary Panneeti Kasirao and other leaders also participated in the press meet.
