AKNU Prof Dr B Jaganmohan Reddy obtained Outstanding Faculty award

Rajamahendravaram: Dr B Jaganmohan Reddy, an assistant professor working in chemistry department of Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) obtained ‘Outstanding Faculty’ award from Venus International Foundation of Chennai.

University vice-chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu presented the award to Dr Jaganmohan Reddy in his chamber here on Wednesday.

Later, the Vice-Chancellor said that so far Jaganmohan Reddy submitted 48 research papers in national and international seminars. He completed his Ph D in chemistry and got post doctoral fellowship from South Korea.

He advised the university faculty to concentrate on PhDs to invent new things for the benefit of the country. 

It was the duty of any university to encourage research programmes, instead of producing students in thousands every year. The faculty should also encourage the students to go for research programmes, he added.

Registrar Dr T Ashok, Dr CHM Krishna, Dr CHVP Rao and others congratulated Jaganmohan Reddy for getting the award.
