Make students think about social responsibility: JNTU Prof

Eluru: JNTU College of Engineering principal Prof KVSG Murali Krishna has said faculty should mould the students to feel social responsibility.

He was delivering a guest lecture on personality development, oganised by SRKR Engineering College here on Wednesday.  

He said that faculty should teach in such a way that the students should start thinking about development activities, the country, environment, learning good from society.

He said that the faculty should make the students think about natural resources available in the surroundings apart from academic studies. 

With the coastal corridor, AP would be transformed into golden AP, he opined.

He said that students should develop the habit of improving greenery. The faculty should create human values in the students while teaching, he added.

JNTU director Prof Subba Rao, the college principal Dr G Parthasaradhi Varma, vice-principal Dr KVSN Raju, Dr JV Narsimha Raju and others were present.
