Chandranna Village Mall inaugurated

Ongole: The Prakasam district Additional Joint Collector D Markandeyulu inaugurated the first Chandranna Village Mall set up at Annavarappadu in Ongole on Monday.The AJC said that in an attempt to provide quality commodities at lesser price, the government had introduced Chandranna Village Malls in the state. 

He said that an agreement was entered with the Reliance to set up the village malls in all ration shops in the state in a phased manner. He said that the village malls would provide about 500 types of products along with the commodities being given on the ration card.

Food Commission member Swarna Geetha, district civil supplies officer Venkateswarlu, manager Pallapu Venkata Ramana and others also participated in the programme.
